This is following a competition run by the Young Writers company.    Each of the 20 writers will now go into a final draw and they could win £1,000 for our school and £250 for themselves.  Second prize is a pair of Apple AirPods and 3^rd a cinema gift card.   Good luck to all of our 20 published poets! 

Once parents and carers have given permission for the poems to be published, the book will go into print and should be available from late August or early September (something exciting to look forward to on their return to school at the start of Year 8).    

We are also linking up with the Looe Festival Words again this year and Miss Jarman’s Year 7 are currently working on poems that might be presented during the festival.  So lots of things to look forward from our amazing writers at Looe Community Academy!  Keep up the great work everyone.
